Dr. Jack McCue, MD

Dr. JACK McCUE is an acclaimed professor, physician, and author. After graduating from Harvard University and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Dr. McCue trained in internal medicine and infectious diseases at Baltimore City, Johns Hopkins, and Beth Israel (Boston) Hospitals. He has held medical faculty appointments at Harvard University, Case Western Reserve University, the University of North Carolina, Bowman Gray School of Medicine, and full professorships at Tufts University, the University of Massachusetts, and the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. At present, Dr. McCue is emeritus professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. McCue's publications include more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals in addition to 15 books or monographs. His most recent book, Cannabis Pharmacy, co-authored with Michael Backes, is in its Second Edition. Over the past 4 years, Dr. McCue has evaluated more than 8,000 patients who use medicinal cannabis, most of whom grow and make their own preparations.
